Teen Hormone Health for Parents/Caregivers of Pre/Teens

Join us for a 2-part virtual class on Teen Hormone Health, taught by reproductive health educators.
This class is designed to support parents and caregivers navigate the social, emotional, and physical changes teens experience during puberty.
You'll leave this share with:
A plan to talk through the changes that your teen is going through
A better understanding of puberty so you can have a closer relationship with your teen
Tools you need to help your teen feel confident & empowered in their body
Class One will cover the basics of pre/teen hormonal health, including:
The physiology of puberty
Your brain on puberty
The physiology of cycles
Class Two will cover:
The basics of hormone balancing
Different hormonal changes during puberty & how to support your teen through them
Contraceptive choices & their impact on hormonal health
How to dialogue with your teen around cycle health
This class will be lead by FAE in training Kate Douglas with additional support from FAE Mary Aline.
Tuition for this class is offered at a sliding scale ($25-100), with all proceeds donated to PERIOD., an organization working towards menstrual equity policies through advocacy, education, and service.
No one will be turned away for lack of funds. Please reach out directly if the donation presents an obstacle for you.
This class will be held online via Zoom. A link will be sent to participants within 72 hours of the class date.
